1. One of the best concerts/plays/movies I ever saw that I really didn't think I'd like was _____________. (awk)
Ironman. I went in support of recovering comic book geek Hubby John and, darn it, if I didn't enjoy myself quite a bit. (Also, Nights in Rodanthe. I went in support of my active Richard Gere fanatic mom and didn't hate it nearly as much as I thought I would.)
2. _________ is a recipe I recently made (or meal I recently ordered) that was delicious!
Nutty Sweet Potato Soup (thanks, Ellie Krieger.)
3. It's time for __________.
College basketball and fun-size candy bars!
4. _____________ is quite refreshing.
A spritz of Philosophy's Amazing Grace cologne
5. If I never hear the phrase ______________ again, it'll be too soon.
I know! Right? (also anything involving the word wheelhouse)
6. To one side of the curving road was a ________, and on the other was a ________.
stand of beautiful birch trees; an unlucky raccoon.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to _____, tomorrow my plans include _____ and Sunday, I want to _____!
having dinner at a local log-cabin themed restaurant (it's very well executed) with friends; looking at some more fall foliage, shopping at Whole Foods, having a drink or two at my favorite German-themed tavern, seeing a movie, and having dinner; get my praise on, eat Door County cherry stuffed french toast at The Coffee Pot, get groceries (honeycrisp apples and pomegranate/blueberry juice!), then watch the Packers play the Colts. Fortunately, whoever wins that day, I'll be happy.
